Meet Isabella
Part old Hollywood siren, part modern showgirl, Isabella Bliss is an internationally acclaimed performer, producer, host and creative voice often referred to as “The Marilyn Monroe of Burlesque.”
With over two decades of experience in cabaret, burlesque and live entertainment, Isabella has built a reputation for creating cinematic performances inspired by the glamour, spectacle and artistry of old Hollywood.
A longtime headliner of Europe’s largest touring burlesque production, An Evening of Burlesque, Isabella spent more than a decade captivating audiences across theatres, luxury venues and international stages with her signature blend of sensuality, comedy and theatrical spectacle. In later years, her role expanded beyond performance into co-management, creative direction and show development behind the scenes, helping shape productions both artistically and operationally.
Known for her visually spectacular signature acts — including crystal-encrusted martini glasses, giant glittering stilettos and a restored vintage carousel horse adorned in crystals — Isabella creates immersive worlds inspired by glamour, fantasy and classic showmanship.
“She looks like Marilyn, she sounds like Marilyn and after a few seconds I truly believe she is Marilyn.”
— Denise Van Outen
“Mesmerizing performance... I couldn’t take my eyes off her.”
— Paul Burrell
Alongside her burlesque work, Isabella has become internationally recognised for her heartfelt and uncanny portrayal of Marilyn Monroe. Her acclaimed theatre show, One Night With Marilyn, has received multiple five-star reviews and was named “Pick of the Fringe” at the Edinburgh Festival.
Blending live vocals, comedy and audience interaction, Isabella’s portrayal of Marilyn feels both authentic and alive. From London’s West End and Crazy Coqs to international theatres, luxury cruise ships and private events, she brings warmth, wit and old Hollywood glamour to every performance. Her work has been praised by names including Denise Van Outen, Julian Clary and Paul Burrell, with audiences often describing her performances as mesmerising, hilarious and remarkably authentic.
Her stage and screen credits include appearances on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, commercials for brands including Peugeot and film appearances alongside Steven Berkoff in The Last Faust. Isabella has also performed internationally for private clients including Arabian royalty, modelled for fashion and vintage-inspired brands, and collaborated creatively on costume and visual concepts throughout her career.
Away from the stage, Isabella is also the creator and host of Behind Burlesque – The Burlesque Podcast, a platform dedicated to honest conversations about performance, artistry and life behind the curtain.
At the heart of Isabella’s work is a love of storytelling, glamour, confidence and human connection. Through performance, conversation and creative expression, she continues to build a world that celebrates individuality, femininity and authentic self-expression.
As her work continues to evolve, Isabella remains passionate about creating experiences — both onstage and off — that celebrate confidence, creativity, sensuality and self-expression.
